Audi revealed the third-generation 2026 Q3, marking a significant update to its popular compact SUV, which has sold over two million units globally since its debut. The unveiling showcased a redesigned exterior featuring a split-headlight layout with slim LED daytime running lights above primary headlamps, integrated into vertical gloss-black trim, and a wider lower air intake on the bumper. The vehicle also includes new pixel-shaped DRLs and a range of alloy wheel options from 17 to 20 inches. Inside, the Q3 features an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen running Android Automotive OS, offering seamless app integration and an AI-assisted voice control system. The gear selector has moved behind the steering wheel to free up center console space. Powertrain options include a 150-hp 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with cylinder deactivation, a 265-hp 2.0-liter turbo-petrol unit with Quattro four-wheel drive, a 150-hp 2.0-liter diesel, and a new plug-in hybrid variant delivering 272 hp with a 119 km electric range. The Q3 is set to go on sale in Europe in September 2025, with pricing starting at £38,300, and deliveries expected in late summer. The updated model aims to maintain its strong market position with advanced technology and multiple engine choices.
