Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry revealed plans for a summer tour with The Joe Perry Project, marking his first solo shows of the year. The eight-date North American tour will begin on August 13 in Tampa, Florida, and conclude on August 23 in Port Chester, New York, with a special performance in Perry’s hometown of Boston on August 19. Perry will be joined by Aerosmith bandmates Brad Whitford on guitar and Buck Johnson on keyboards, alongside The Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson on vocals, and Stone Temple Pilots’ Robert DeLeo on bass and Eric Kretz on drums. Perry expressed excitement about the lineup, noting that most of these musicians performed with him at The Roxy in Los Angeles during the 2018 debut event for his solo album Sweetzerland Manifesto. The tour aims to bring a mix of classic hits and new energy to fans across the region.
